On Saturday, October 20th, 2018 families enjoyed pumpkin painting and face painting with Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse committee members. Over eighty mini pumpkins and some large ones were hidden in the Labyrinth garden and children picked their choice. Enjoyable New Rochelle High School volunteers from the National Art Honor Society and Key Club assisted the children with the paints, pipe cleaners, glitter glue and more. Throughout the afternoon the visiting children were entertained by the high schoolers with the colorful parachute game. Thank you to our volunteers! The event was expertly chaired by new committee member Dr. Nicole Forman-Torres.
Thanks to committee members Rebecca, Joyce, Carla and Geri for coming to help out. Thanks also to Karen and her husband John, who took the amazing photos. Thanks to Millie for providing many needed supplies and thanks to Margaret for the mini pumpkins. Thank you to New Rochelle Parks & Recreation for their continued support.
