HPCG Builds More Raised Beds at Trinity

in News by Karen Hessel

Frank Buddingh' spearheaded the creation of two new raised beds at Trinity School.  This project was made possible by a grant given by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence 2019.  Frank purchased the materials with the assistance of Millie.  He sawed and assembled the boxes with landscape fabric liners on Friday, May 17th.  Trinity Building and Grounds staff provided a wheelbarrow and helped Frank start the filling of the beds with soil, provided by Mario Bulfamante & Sons (Portman Avenue.) John and Jack Hessel, using a bucket brigade technique, worked with Frank to finish filling the beds with soil.  Everyone did a great job.  Thank you Frank, Millie, Mario Bulfamante & Sons, Buildings & Grounds and the New Rochelle Fund for Excellence.  Click here for photos.
